Madonna

Artist Madonna has worked with many artist including Brittany Spears, Christina Aguliara, and many more. Now the Queen of Pop is turning to a different genre, rap. On December 14th Madonna is set to release a new single with rapper, Lil Wayne. The single is called "Revolver".

Messenger of Peace

December 3, 2009 Stevie Wonder is appointed United Nations Messanger of Peace. His specific mission is to help the disabled. UN Secretary- General, Ban Kimoon spoke very highly of Wonder saying that "he is admired by millions". Stevie Wonder is the 11th person to recieve this honor.

Rolling Stone Assault Charges

Ronnie Wood the guitarist for the Rolling Stones has been arrested in suspicion of assualt on wednesday December 2nd. Surrey police confirmed that the artist was arrested. He is now out on bail. The police believe the assualt had something to do with on-off girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova,20.

Snoop Dog & GPS

Snoop Dog is a rapper of the 90's. He has colaberated with many artist you name them he's probably done it. But to think that this rapper would collaberate with a GPS system? Thats right. Snoop Dog has done a VoiceSkin for tomtom GPS systems.

Carl Barts

Carl Barats former Liberines star, announces that he wants to be an actor. He makes his first stage debut in January. He will be starting along with Sadie Frost in the play "Fool for Love". He claims hes always wanted to act. But it will be a challenge.

BET SOUL

The soul train awards are out ot honor people that have made a difference in african american music. Toni Braxton opened with her new single "So Yesterday" who was joined by Trey Songz on stage. Keri Hilson also preformed her song "Knock you Down". The performances of the night were amazing.

CMA Awards

The country music association awards took place on November 11th, 2009. There where many artist present. The young star Taylor Swift was a big winner that night. Bring in four awards that night. Including,Album of the year. Best Video of the year. Female Vocalist, and Entertainer of the year. She is only 19 years old and already taking the music industry by storm!

Adam Lambert was a finalist in the season 8 american idol reality show television show. He was scheduled to realease his debute single "Time for Miracles" leaked online a week in advance of the October 27th release date. The song first hit itunes in Italy and quickly made it to youtube.

Speeding

Today I got a ticket. I didnt realize that I was speeding while listening to an upbeat song. I was just keeping pase with the song. I guess the cop didn't thing it was a good excuse. Though I've seen people get out of tickets that way all the time. Crazy how much control a song can have on your speed!

Moods?

Have you ever noticed that the one time your having a bad day at work you hop into your car turn in the engine and the radio, and a song that matches your mood comes booming out of your speakers? I can't count how many times its happened to me. It's almost relief to know that there are people out there feeling just like you are.

Ringtones

Have you ever noticed when your walking around in stores, that peoples pockets start singing the latest jams? There are hundreds of sites out now days to create your very own ringtones. Not only can you create your own ringtones but you can also buy ringback tones from your carrier service.

Sick Days?

I know that on monday I was sick as a dog. It was one of those days that no sound in the world was good to me. Silence was golden! If i could have heard any sounds the sounds of nature were the only thing that I enjoyed. The sound of the rain on the air conditioner made for great relaxing sleep music!

Stressed?

I know that on days like today when it really feels like everything is hopeless I like listen to music that kind of goes along with my day. I found an amazing site where you can create playlists acourding to what you like. You pick out a song or artist you like and the site comes up with artist and songs that are similar by sound to what you like. It's pretty awesome when you've had a rough day to sit and listen to your favorite kinds of music and just relax after a long day.

Traveling And Music

Have you have gone on a road trip to a place you don't know well? You wonder what are the radio stations here? Will I get to listen to the kind of music I like while I'm away from home? I have found that while I'm away from home, here at school, or traveling, I can always find my favorite radio stations online! It's really neat to be able to keep up with whats "Hot" at home when your not even there!

2009 VMA's

The VMA's are one of the biggest music awards of the year. This sunday not only did they have a tribute to the King Of Pop, but also one of the most shocking moments of the VMA's. Rapper Kanye West hopped on stage and took the mic from Taylor Swift as she was delivering her acceptance speech for Best Female Video. It's been the most talked about subject today on campus, facebook, and all around.

Driving In The Car

Today as I was walking to class I crossed the road to the comm building. As I was approaching the cross walk there was a snack truck stopped at the stop sign. Not only was the driver over the age of 35 but he was jamming out to The Black Eyed Peas newest hit "I Gotta Feeling". I found this amusing. Music genres have a high reach now days...

Falling Asleep

After a long day of classes, work, and whatever else is going on in our days, sometimes it's harder to actually unwind and really relax. I find it helpful to listen to some soothing soft music before bed.

I sometimes search around the internet for new songs to soothe me to sleep. Anything slow and relaxing really does the trick.

Waking Up With Music

Waking up in the morning is hard. So every morning as soon as I wake up I flip on CMT in the morning. The music helps me get moving. It's almost better then a cup of Joe. There is nothing better then waking up to Kenny Chesney in the morning!
